Rue Norvins is right at the top of Montmartre (the Mount of Martyrs), between Sacré Cœur to the right and the square full of artists at Place du Tertre to the left of this view. In summer Rue Norvins is crowded. I went there first thing in the morning before the cafes open & when only a few stragglers were around, as well as a couple who were bidding a fond farewell.
